I saw this exhibit in San Francisco. It was so emotional and thought-provoking. The Smithsonian should be freaking ashamed.

I showed this to my husband, who's a Navy vet. He marched in Bush 41's Inaugural parade. Something about this seemed off. He said these guys just looked like they were out for a walk. They're supposed to all be marching in unison and lined up from shortest to tallest. No spirit at all.

I like books. I like reading books. I like going to author events and listening to them talk about their books. But Chuck doesn't need to read a book, he needs to READ THE ROOM. Read the freaking room, Chuck!

I will stand by my assessment that the Homer was a better designed car than the Cybertruck. At least THAT one had a separate bubble for the kids!

Resing this weekend. Next weekend, supporting the arts by seeing San Francisco Ballet's Frankenstein! It's freaking amazing, and I totally recommend seeing it if you can!

Read it in 11th grade. It was... a bit ago. I was only supposed to read the first chapter, and I ended up finishing the entire book! One of the assignments that I remember was the symbolism. The green light, the ash heaps, the sign for Dr. T.J. Eckelburg, things like that.
