Yesterday, history happened at the UN: For the first time hundreds of orgs signed a global pledge declaring that healthy indoor air is a human right.

Healthy indoor air is a key tool for preventing pandemics, building climate resilience, and increasing health equity. We need it everywhere!

Indoor air quality has a critical - yet overlooked - impact on our health. We’re honoured that our CEO, Plum Stone will join the Global Commission on Healthy Indoor Air as Co-Chair, to collaborate with experts from around the globe to put a spotlight on healthier indoor environments.

Students & their drivers deserve a safe & healthy ride to school, including clean air to breathe!

School buses have poor air filtration & ventilation systems (air quality = bad) 😔

Wearing a respirator mask (N95, KN95, etc) & opening windows (when the outdoor air is safe!) can make a difference!

We are experiencing a dangerous heat wave in Ontario.

What is the plan for schools and school buses without A/C? How are students, educators, and bus drivers expected to endure such unsafe learning, transportation, and working conditions?

Let us know what’s happening at your family’s school(s).

Exam week, and we’re in a heat wave. AGAIN. @johnfraseros.bsky.social, please help us advocate for funding for appropriate HVAC in schools.

Note that the US govt is coercing countries into using Starlink, while also threatening non-compliant users with loss of service.

When will Ford clearly and finally end Ontario’s contract with Starlink? I see no reference to this in reports on the budget.
It’s not just Gambia.

We got internal cables, notes and other records that show how U.S. diplomats have intervened on behalf of Starlink in at least four other developing nations. All while the U.S. has withdrawn foreign aid from those same countries.

This, this, this!!!!

The 90-95% MMR vax rate ship has sunk, thanks to anti-vaxxers AND pro-infxn public health comms (immunity debt ffs 🤬)

We need #CleanAir NOW!

Ventilation & building, room, personal scale filtration (e.g., MERV13 in HVAC system, portable air cleaners, respirator level masks).
If convincing people to get the measles vaccine is ‘slow going’ this calls for a vaccine-PLUS approach.

Kids/Educators/Bus drivers have the right to NOT get infected, especially those at high risk.

Vaccine-PLUS means:

+masks
+air filtration
+ventilation
+more!
