NEWS: After pressure from me, @repterrisewell.bsky.social, and @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, the Trump Administration has removed the Montgomery Bus Station, home of the Freedom Rides Museum, from the list of properties slated for sale.
We have to stand up for Montgomery.
We have to stand up for our history.
And we have to stand up for this bus station with the same resolve that John Lewis and the Freedom Riders had in 1961. www.alreporter.com/2025/03/07/s...

Saddened to hear this news. I was honored to be part of a roundtable with Sandra Gilbert and Susan Gubar to discuss coauthorship. A powerhouse; rest in power.
