United by Unique. #WorldCancerDay25

As a very unique leukemia patient. I feel this. Once you have #Cancer you become instantly connected to a room full of people. You feel their joys and mourn their loss.
And each day we work towards making improvements with cancer #research to improve lives.

When did bipartisan efforts to ensure medical care for disadvantaged (including children) individuals, food access, and assistance with insurance become just one-sided. Will the lights be turned off next?

For those new, I'm a clinical laboratory scientist working towards completing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering focusing on improving outcomes for #TCT patients. Also I had B cell and Tell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. My life-saving #HSCT was 5 years ago. #celltherapiessky #IntotheNextEra❤️

Why are working with hematopoietic stem cells? -Because they interested me.
Why are you passionate about your research?
-Because I sat listening to Death cackling at me 2x a day for 5 days, measured in Gy.
5 yrs ago I started TBI for my HSCT for B cell/Tcell ALL. I'm still here. Still fighting
