I picked up this multi-colored thread at the quilt shop last weekend and then immediately hypnotized myself by sewing a spiral forever and ever and ever 🌀 absolutely obsessed with rope baskets now and I want to make 600 more!

I always forget how addicting sock knitting is. Like, from the physical movement of my hands to how quickly a row knits up to watching the yarn change color - it’s all so addicting!

Just over a week of stitching here! …after I took this and finished some of the words I realized my stitches were off by two and I wasn’t gonna be able to fudge it to make it work 🥲 already ripped out the offending section, but the project is in time out now. #crossstitch

Spent the other night knitting in the park for an outdoor concert! Managed to get a few rows done while jamming!

I’m currently working on the #TolstaTank using Eddie Bauer Adventurer Cotton - I’ve got maybe 3.5-4 inches before I start bust darts and then split for front and back!

I’ve done a couple of random cross stitch pieces before (mostly small, sampler kind of things) but I’m making a full sized counted cross stitch for my mom for Christmas and I’m obsessed with it.

Here’s more of how I mended the collar once I detached it. I used iron-on denim patches from the inside, then just went back and forth over it with my sewing machine. Then I just had to line it back up on the jacket!

Really leveled up my #mending skills with this one! This is my dad’s vintage Levi jean jacket that he had completely worn the collar out on. I detached the collar, fixed the holes, and then reattached it inside out so the part that has been protected for 40+ years is now the outside. ITS LIKE NEW!!!
