The proposals to limit Article 3 are absolutely terrifying. I struggle to think of something that has come out of any UK government which has concerned me more. This must be resisted absolutely.

I was at a sold-out screening (both floors at the Rio!) of Shall We Dance? yesterday. Was just thinking about how many great Japanese comedies there are that have fallen by the wayside.

I really wish there was a bigger market for less-gonzo Japanese movies. Dramas. Period pieces. Comedies. There are so many great ones that I know would just land with a thud because there’s no good marketing hook. Discoverability is the big problem here.

Translation: Double/triple check numbers/symbols. Those are the only things a monolingual client understands in the source, and you look deeply incompetent if you get them wrong.
