Some pictures from the Budapest Pride march. There is an astounding amount of people marching! (The people in the front of the second picture are not even the first people in line and you can barely see the end of it!) #budapestpride

You’re telling me that right wing voters that Labour was trying to appeal to voted for a right wing party anyway and left wing voters decided not to vote for Labour because they’re too right wing now? Who could have possibly predicted this.

To our trans friends:

We see you. We’re with you. Trans people belong – everywhere. Including in football.

The events of the last few weeks’ have been a result of a catastrophic failure of leadership and courage from our politicians, media, and society as a whole.

Women's sport is vastly underfunded, has numerous issues surrounding abuse, multiple events are pushed aside for the men's game and a stigma about picking up a sport as a young girl. All of these are vastly, vastly more important to tackle than the fake notion of trans women in sport being a threat.

My gentle suggestion to Labour frontbenchers – as someone who knocked on doors for them in the general election – is to stop trying to gaslight the country into thinking we're not heading back to austerity.

Gaslighting didn't work for the Tories, and it won't work for Labour.

Disabled people need greater financial support from the government – not draconian cuts that will drive more people into poverty. We're deeply concerned about the impact the benefit cuts announced today will have on disabled people.

Doesn't seem to be consideration of a u-turn on making PIP harder to get. Just on freezing the amount.
Could've avoided a "humiliating backtrack" if they had taken a second to think about the repercussions of cutting already hard to get PIP payments. Labour should never have been forced into a U turn, because they should never have proposed cuts in the first place.

The government is planning to cut disability benefits. This could have a devastating impact on disabled people.

We need as many MPs as possible to speak out against disability benefits cuts before they're announced as early as Monday.

Ask your MP now: action.sense.org.uk/page/167765/...

If this is about work, why are they — by all accounts — cutting Personal Independence Payment, which have nothing to do with whether you can work or not?
Most MPs said Starmer was making the moral case for welfare reform.

But several did ask the PM about PIP cuts, with one MP saying it could affect his own disabled daughter. Those in the room say the PM did not respond directly to his concerns.
