Can we talk about movie previews? We live in a world where all new previews are on social media at our fingertips. There is zero need for 30 fucking minutes of previews before a movie. Also, we went to Fantastic 4. Why the fuck am I being shown a preview for Downton Abbey? Know your audience.

Clarification on this. Guess they don’t charge for to go boxes, it’s a “packaging fee” for take out orders of 5%. But this situation a large fam came in to eat. At the end they ordered takeout for another fam member. But the restaurant added the 5% to the whole order.
Just read on the foodie page that Rookies Sports Bar in Waukee is now adding a 5% surcharge to your bill if you request to go packaging.
No fucking way. Hope they go under.

Made a little under 3lbs of taco beef last night for supper and saving for later. That 2.8lbs of hamburger cost me $20.50. Absolutely outrageous.

Hawley is proposing a Tariff Rebate. I mean if they want to give my household $2400 I’m not going to turn it down but maybe if their tariffs weren’t robbing us at the cash register we wouldn’t need Tariff Rebates in the first place.

There are trees and power poles down all across the metro area from the storms that hit last night. Yet there was never a warning issued for any of the storms. This has to be a reflection of the cutbacks to the NWS because there is no way non-severe winds could’ve caused this damage.

My first concert that I went to (as opposed to going with my parents) was Ozzy in Hilton Coliseum with opening acts Deftones and Korn. I believe it was February 1996. I would go on to see him again later that year in Cedar Rapids and then again in 97 when he reunited with Sabbath at OzzFest.
