All the small doggos in the house went to the fur stealers today. Pixie was not impressed. Elmo was delighted and Bambi was her usual calm, happy self. 😊

We are not set up for higher temperatures on this island. Air conditioning only happens in large commercial spaces.

Our big girl, Abby, had to have surgery yesterday to remove a wart on her eyelid and a worrying growth on her gum. She was the bravest girl but was very woozy and upset afterwards, and she is NOT enjoying the cone of shame! 😞💕

Treated myself to a bonsai today. This is Bonny. She is a Carmona (Fukien Tea) - indoor, flowering bonsai. There’s only one flower right now but I can see lots more waiting to bloom! 😊

Poor Chessie. Moving is tough all round. Might a bed like this help? We got a huge one for our big dogs and it definitely helped. The sensation of being cocooned somewhat seems to calm them. This one is from Amazon UK (yeah, I know!) but US versions should be roughly $20.

I haven’t been on there since late last year, but I kept my Twitter acct (yes, it will always be Twitter, FElon Muck) so I could see posts from folks I liked who weren’t on BlueSky. Today, I deactivated it and will never go back.
Life’s too short to wade through toxicity for cute cat & dog pics.

Today was Fur Stealing day for Pixie and Elmo. They smell and look so much better. They remain unimpressed.

Pixie got a new bed too. She’s even less impressed with that.

Poor Elmo. He got his stitches out today and we got the lab results. What they removed from him was a sarcoma. They’re hopeful they got all the cancer out but we have to keep a close watch on the wound in case it comes back.
He’ll be getting lots of treats and cuddles. 💕

Elmo is recovering well from his big surgery yesterday. He’s being cuddled and spoiled rotten.

My lil’ dude, Elmo has to see the vet in the morning. He’s got a lump on his back that’s been growing pretty quickly. Fingers crossed it’s just a lymphedema and they’ll be able to treat it quickly and easily but I’m worried sick right now. 😞
