The next Regional Vice President must be fully focused on rebuilding every riding in Central East - not distracted by a nomination bid.

That’s why I’m making a clear commitment: I will not seek a nomination in the next election.

I’ve gotten to know Lori well over recent years. As a nurse and someone who never stops fighting for her community and values, she brings heart and experience to everything she does. I’m grateful for her support as we re-energize the grassroots and build our party for the future

Today I’m sharing the first of my commitments in this campaign to be your next Regional Vice President: to be a present leader.

That means being in every riding throughout the year—not just at election time—listening, engaging, and working with grassroots Liberals.

Today, we mourn the passing of Pope Francis. A humble servant, a voice for the poor, and a champion of peace. His compassion and moral clarity touched hearts across the world, regardless of faith. May his legacy endure, and may he rest in eternal peace.
