I think a misconception is that while i’m quite doomy about our prospects, making art that engages with those feelings is how i continue. Making jokes and living my life despite *carrying* that doom around are how i make it lighter to carry.

suggesting that we empty our heads of all thought and worldly concerns while that world goes down the crapper sounds like pretty nihilist advice to me, guy.

What happens if the policies of a majority government don't match *your* goals, and nobody can stop them?

While I absolutely feel that Carney was the better choice over PP, I just can't trust him. We're in pretty uncharted territory right now, and a majority could lead to some pretty unprecedented shifts in Canadian policy. (Thinking of Ford's ON majority, and how his moves are largely fait accompli).

Clearly, i have a chip about this.
