Love the PoE hats for my Pis. Since they only need one cable I print mounts for the Pis for a 19" rack. Even @jeffgeerling.com liked my custom color coordination 😅

If it's the energy cost you're worried about. This is my cluster of 6 Lenovo tinies. They are mixed 6th to 9th gen Intel CPUs with 384gb RAM, 24TB NVME storage and 50 cores in total.
The average power draw is between 70 and 100w. Doesn't get much more efficient and cheap to buy than that

Das erinnert ein wenig an die Anfänge von Social Media auf StudiVZ.
Dort gabs "Gruppen" aber die hat niemand zum Austausch verwendet, sondern nur, weil der Gruppenname auf deinem Profil aufgelistet wurde. Also praktisch nur gemacht um eine einzelne Aussage zu befürworten

When your netgate firewall breaks (blown PSU) and you know you'd have to send it overseas to fix it. You just solder a 12v PSU to the header pins.
Downtime reduced from 2 weeks to 6 hours :D
