Everyone has a different relationship with reading, what's important is that people are still enjoying it as a hobby.

I do not have faith in that. It started to suck during the second season and I've been watching in the hope that it would get better. It's had a few good moments but not enough overall.

Glad I finally got round to reading this book, it has the POV of three very different characters, multiple found families with a different dynamic, unexpected allies and betrayals, all against the backdrop of a humans vs the gods Norse-inspired...

I say this as someone who counts The Count of Monte Cristo as one of their favourite classics of all time. My frustration with Dumas adaptations is that so much is taken out of the story to squeeze it into a time limit or changed entirely. This review makes me think maybe they finally got it right.
