Was going to message you to thank you for all the coverage but didn’t want to jinx it . Then it was too late. Thanks anyway for helping me through the summer.

Thanks to you and all your colleagues for the last 6 months coverage of the cricket. My health has not been great and without doubt the cricket commentary and live streams have made life tolerable. My thanks to you all.

My favourite Thistle goal v Celtic was Joe Hogan’s trundler from nearly 40 yards at Celtic Park that squeezed through keeper Frank Haffey’s legs and rolled over the line. Frank emigrated to Australia soon after.

Used to varied chat on cricket coms. But never thought I’d hear talk about Susan Boyle. Scottish national treasure.

What a difference today with The Dukes ball back. Runs and wickets everywhere.

A lovely man. I had the pleasure of taking him to Shawfield in 82 to watch Clyde v Thistle. He wasn’t too impressed but thought that our ginger haired striker had promise. Mojo!

Robert would have been delighted that on the day we celebrated his life the young team paraded the cups they had won the previous week.

Really enjoyed the spell of commentary after Ackerman had been given out. You were clearly furious and Churchy was trying to be the voice of reason. You probably didn’t realise it at the time but it was very funny.

Possibly the only person in the world who still thinks rolled up sleeves on a jacket is a look

Maybe just one game too many for a young PSG side. They looked tired. But Chelsea tactics brilliant on the night.

Sadly much the same in the UK. Our have been moving to the right for years. The few socialists left in the party are being hounded out. Very sad

Thought that was kind of minimum requirement. Ben Raine looked in considerable pain climbing the pavilion steps at the end. He wins today’s took one for the team award. Hope this doesn’t delay his recovery.

Shout out for George Drissell. Took one for the team over last two days.

Suppose it’s too much to hope that the authorities will admit that this experiment is a mistake and abandon it? Always admire people who put there hand up and say they were wrong.

Huge congratulations to Kim Little. Shame she stopped playing for Scotland in 2019.

I didn’t go due to health issues. But I did feel we had a chance. Being a Jags fan is not always easy but nights like tonight make it worthwhile. Heroic performance from players and managers. Ashcroft geezo what a guy.

Clearly too far south. Glorious day in Edinburgh waiting on swans hatching.

Some game of cricket Martin. Been watching live stream on and off for all four days. Riveted to it since tea. Superb entertainment. Neither side deserved to lose.

Two wonderful books that have even more relevance today than they had when they were written. If you haven’t read them I highly recommend that you do.
