Whether it's a good or a bad year for them, they're getting much harder to find in North Bucks, as with Whinchats and Common Redstarts. Frequented pit-stops being lost to urban expansion.

I know the whites can be quite variable but I scanned a good portion of 30+ along the peninsula yesterday, none of which matched the wing margin of this one.

Also interestingly 2 Reed Buntings and a Yellowhammer heading east/southeast in a pre-roost movement alongside several Chaffinches over Tattenhoe yesterday afternoon. Buntings are a lot scarcer in this corner of the city nowadays, especially Yellowhammers which are mainly fleeting flyovers. (2/2)
