New accepted paper by Ashley Murray & @shikhaprashad.bsky.social 🇺🇸 on aging and motor sequence learning. They found that both age groups demonstrated learning within sessions, but only young adults showed strong offline (between-session) learning; and older adults struggled with complexity.

New paper by Paula Carmona Osorio from @unileiden.bsky.social 🇳🇱 and colleagues examined how depression affects sensorimotor adaptation. 20 participants with depression and 22 controls adapted joystick movements under visual perturbation equally well, with adaptation unaffected by symptom severity.

New accepted paper by Adrián Belenguer-Troya et al on a classroom-based physical activity (PA) intervention. PA increased and perceived physical literacy maintained in the intervention group (vs. ⬇️ in controls); motor competence improved in both – supporting the benefits of classroom-based PA.

New accepted paper by Katherine Spring et al. from Auburn University 🇺🇸. The SUNRISE study assessed how well three product-based motor skill tools align with the TGMD-3 in 3–4-year-olds. Results showed moderate to strong associations, supporting SUNRISE as a feasible tool for large-scale use.
