Howdy, I will feature old postcards on my Blue Sky account. I Love Old Postcards! All of my post will feature Old Postcards from Arizona. Most cards are found on eBay but we also use several other sources.

It's always been amazing to me that this airframe design was never resurrected and replicated. It's such an enduring classic and would be as popular today as the first day it was introduced,oh, so long ago.

I often wonder if there is a clandestine "Society of Livery Designers" who actually "visualize" these liveries into reality. I also often wonder if some members of the society should be sent to "Livery Designer Rehab". Whoever designed this one truly qualifies for a trip to Livery Designer Rehab!

DMAFB is, of course, famous for its Boneyard. Therein lies a story. I became Friends with a guy who was a kid in the late 40's. He & his buddies would sneak into all the old WWII aircraft, don old helmets, sit on flight decks & act like pilots. OH! The stories he told were so rich w/details.

Thanks. We go thru Heber City often--it's our preferred way to bypass SLC/I-15. Definitely will need to check it out. THANK YOU!
