👏🏽 This 👏🏽 is 👏🏽 fantastic👏🏽

Lovely visual presentation, with outbound links for further reading, of the 65,000 year story of our First Nations Peoples here in Australia — the longest living culture on the planet.

Esp. nice overview of how ancient astronomy played a big role in this history.
A momunmental achievement and wonderfully presented by the Story Lab.

Also gotta note the timing of its release - the same week as Tony Abbott's "history" of Australia book/doco.
The epic story of Australia and its first peoples — like you've never seen it
The story of Australia and its peoples is vast and deep. It's one you should know, but possibly one you've never been told. Well, not like this anyway.

I contribute with some local (Norwegian local) gneiss.

Skaddene, small island close to Risør.

Amazing geology that has created this.

Somewhat similar to the Greenland shot.

Best and most difficult MinCup final I have seen so far. Both minerals are special, amazing and beautiful and truly deserve to win. But only one of them can.

Go there, read the descriptions and make your choice!
