Thank you, @ninahall.bsky.social for highlighting this. There are a lot of parallels to international NGOs and the ‚multiple mandate disorder‘ although at some point (as you say) they need to engage on things that threaten their basic existence.

@ninahall.bsky.social we aspire to shift attention away from the U.S. , but the book remains about these very large groups. And I think they are a particular target of Musk, Vance, and others. I still wonder if their „justifications“ for cutting funding etc. are really going to convince people(??).
