He thought it was ingenious and then "complimented" me by saying, with sincerity, that it is a wonder I'm not married. Because I cook my eggs in a cookie cutter the same size as my bagel so it fits when I make a sandwich. I'm exhausted and it isn't even noon yet.

I'm so sorry you had to experience either of them, but the issue is with THEM, not you! Your true friends want to see you happy! We want to celebrate with you over the small things and the big things! If someone has an issue with that, they aren't your friend and it's better to just leave them out!

It's not bragging! You are allowed to have nice things. CLOTHES AND GROCERIES ARE NOT "NICE THINGS" THEY ARE BASIC ESSENTIALS. Being able to afford them isn't bragging. Celebrating FINALLY being able to afford them isn't bragging.

Once he gets a little older, have a pen and paper. Kids will doodle, write stories, make lists, etc. It’s especially good to have in a restaurant or on a car trip where they have to be patient.

Also, quarters. A lot of places (at least where I live) have those quarter machines that give you candy/toys/stickers/etc. Kids freaking love them.

I literally haven’t done anything like that! I’ve unsubscribed to every email and post STOP to all the texts but I can’t ignore the phone calls because I’m waiting to hear from so many employers about job applications and I don’t want to miss them 😭

Idk if he was *actually* trying to hide or not. I said “are you hiding” and he said “yeah” but he also said that when I asked if he had pooped and he had not so 🤷🏼♀️

I’m very thankful he hasn’t figured out how to use it yet 😂😂😂 He mostly just uses it to whack things so far!
