Today I came across this historic New York Times article that claimed that Hitler was “tamed” and “wiser” after a stint in prison - which predicted he would retire.
(He didn’t).
Goes to show how long our press has underestimated tyrants.

I'm impressed that the street lamp was considerate enough to direct its light towards the person who genuinely needed it, unlike the individual with bewildered expression who doesn't know the meaning of common courtesy.
