There have now been at least 3 starting grants earned by participants of that one Epigenetics course in Paris in 2011, with maybe 20-25 participants? Pretty impressive!

Getting this grant took several attempts and lots of support from my past advisors, current colleagues and many other science friends. Thank you to everyone who helped me prepare by proofreading, doing practice talks or sharing advice or encouragement!!

This manuscript was a long time in the making (started while Claudia and I were both still in the Adelman lab), but thankfully going from preprint to published in @genesdev.bsky.social was a smooth process!
