Analysing the Federal election campaign 2025 in Germany, we found only few party ads on #Facebook and #Instagram. Perceived targeting was negatively associated with lower vote choice certainty. However, targeting of the preferred party did neither affect certainty nor party preference.

Preparing for #ICA25 in Denver with a little time off was not a bad choice of @ymeier.bsky.social , @biancanowak.bsky.social, and myself. While battling jet lag, we had time to see some of the beautiful scenery Colorado has to offer and switch off from research for a while (at least on the hikes 😉).

Part II is done! ✅Three weeks ago I defended my thesis after three years of researching political campaigns and the role of personalisation on social media. A little break is more than needed: to rest, process this exhausting but rewarding last months and travel to #ICA24! 🏝️

Still under construction but one step further.📓 Just before christmas I submitted my dissertation "Watch your Attitude! Investigating the Role of Personalisation in Social Media Campaigns from Political Actors to the Electorate".
Starting the new year preparing the next step: the disputation. 🎓
