I spend so much time and effort trying to establish habits that don't actively atrophy my brain (mainly reading/writing/talking more, scrolling less). It's incredibly challenging and feels so futile given *everything* going on

Everything in modern life is designed to reduce the need for critical thinking and reasoning. I can't believe there have been adverse effects!

That there are a significant # of streets too steep to bike up 😅 so used to never considering elevation in my route finding
