My dad has always pushed himself to say “I love you.” Even though he is 92 and was raised in a time, and in a family, where men were taught not to say those words…particularly to other men. And also, he loves cats.

Fair.

This was my first @gabino.bsky.social book. I love it every bit as much as the rest of ‘em.

Jones I guess is famous for his on-set wit. Barry Sonnenfeld talks about it in his new book. In fact, an off-the-cuff joke from Jones is what inspired the book title.

Thanks. I think I’m gonna accelerate ordering this for my library. Been on my radar for a while. This was the nudge I needed.

Sounds like story potential.

No. I won’t. I’ll tell them to read The Only Good Indians. Oh, but also, the Indian Lake trilogy.

Said better than I could.

I can see it. Similarly, I was thinking Jack Shephard from Lost.

I’m getting tired of winning.

If whatever you’re doing ain’t working, stop doing it. To change things, leave your comfort zone. That’s all I’ve learned.

How have I never heard of this!? I’m gonna watch it.

Done. Also, thanks!

I also think people get too testy when they figure out a twist, early.

For example, while Shyamalan can be hit-and-miss, I think some of his films were under-appreciated because viewers put too much weight on the twist and not enough on the journey there.

Thanks for posting. There are a couple of people in my life who I think should consider getting tested for ADHD; I’ll listen to this and see if it’s something which they might find persuasive.

They’ll lose everything and then just blame it on Biden. Don’t let them.

Every new post should be: “If you voted for Trump, and you don’t like (fill in the blank impact), don’t forget…you fucking asked for this.”

I can attest to this.

New Sadie followers would do well to get cuddly with their local libraries…lest they go broke.

This made my day.

Dude, for what it’s worth, this reader will read every novel you make moving forward. And even if every one isn’t a greatest hit (though, so far so good), I’ll still keep reading your new novels. And I know I’m not alone. Not by a long shot.

Amazing! Great collection!

BTW: Someone on Bluesky just inspired me to organize my bookshelf by color. It’s almost life-changing. I’m recommending it to everybody.
