Our kids (95 lb) Rott would be trying to jump into the screen and knocking everything off the table in the process. Then she'd run into the next room behind the screen, convinced she'd find the dog there.
She reacts the same with horses and loves to interact with the horses on the farm.

Here's the issue. Assuming two people, maybe one. That's probably enough for ten people. If everyone brings enough food for ten people, you wind up with 5x to 10x too much good. Much will go to waste or grow bacteria.

Some places that don't have regular pickup the denizens need to "run to the dump" to get rid of garbage.
Might also be because they choose not to subscribe to regular garbage pickups, or have a lot of stuff to get rid of or a myriad of other reasons. Kids have a farm and do dump runs.

I have a different take on "the singularity." AI will eschew a battle (with us) and instead tweak our information feeds to subtly drive behavior where it wants so we can be most productive. Or it will drive us to destroy ourselves.
