Developing workflows in github actions has generally been very painful. There is limited lsp support, debugging is very difficult, running actions locally is not very mature yet, there are weird limitations within many features.

PS. If you are using a keyboard from ZSA, then it is possible to configure the tap term from this menu in the settings:
I have mine set to 140 ms. That is the sweet spot for me. But of course, everybody is different :)
