My mom went through an all caps phase so excuse that! But it’s in the official family book.

I made half a recipe last week and it made one 9x13 pan. It’s better in an iron skillet but I could take it to work in that. (And in case you don’t know PET milk is evaporated milk.)
A binder with Family Favorites written in it. My Mema’s cornbread dressing recipe passed down from my mom. CORNBREAD DRESSING 2 LARGE SKILLETS OF BAKED CORNBREAD 6-8 SLICES OF BREAD 1 1/2 LARGE ONION CELERY ( THE WHOLE STALK) 8-10 BUNCHES OF GREEN ONIONS CHICKEN BROTH BUTTER 1 OR 2 CANS PET MILK POULTRY SEASONING DICE ALL VEGETABLES AND PUT IN LARGE SAUCEPAN. ADD ½ STICK BUTTER AND COVER WITH CHICKEN BROTH. BRING TO A BOIL AND SIMMER UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE TENDER. IN FOOD PROCESSOR, GRIND CORNBREAD AND BREAD UNTIL FINE. COMBINE IN A LARGE BOWL. STIR IN VEGETABLES, CAN OF CHICKEN BROTH, 1-2 TSP POULTRY SEASONING, AND 1 CAN PET MILK. MIX WELL. IF MIXTURE IS TOO DRY, ADD CHICKEN BROTH AND MILK. PUT INTO IRON SKILLET OR CASSEROLE AND BAKE AT 375 DEGREES UNTIL DONE. DRESSING WILL BE BROWNED AND FIRM IN MIDDLE. THIS WILL MAKE A VERY LARGE AMOUNT OF DRESSING. ADJUST AMOUNTS AS NEEDED. A pan of cornbread dressing.

I donate to Houston Food Bank regularly, it’s one of my favorite charities to support. I made a larger donation last week.
