Bought this at the RetrotechUK show in Cov. Have absolutely no need for a monochrome, monaural tv tuner at al. No need.

Cheltenham Record Fair today. Bought a copy of this classic, which looked great but is unplayable owing to some former owner having used a nasty ceramic cartridge or mono pickup on it. It’s had it.

I can’t be 100% sure about this, but I recall in some 1990s classic car mag featuring a microcar, the owner being quizzed by Rod Stewart, nothing about the actual vehicle, but whether it was possible to get one’s ‘leg over’ in it. Anyone remember the article?
Pic for attention.

Citroens in Cheltenham 100 years ago. The garage continued until the 2000s selling Vauxhall. These Type As would have been assembled in Brook Green, Hammersmith in the building opposite the park, recently occupied by Access storage.

Happy Birthday Doctor Who. Here’s the wonderful @johncavanagh.bsky.social playing my VCS3 signed by Dick Mills of the #RadiophonicWorkshop. He was the bloke who did much of the tape splicing for the groundbreaking #DeliaDerbyshire theme.

(Sorry about the buffered matrix John. It’s confusing!)

I have one of these… if your organ had originally been marketed in Britain, it’d have been a “Bentley” too.

Honestly. Not one single duffer of a vinyl pressing. Between my lot and the super-fussy staff and associates at Loud & Clear Glasgow, probably the toppest-end hi-fi dealers in the British Isles, we can’t fault ‘em. Plus Billy Reeves. What’s not to like?

#Justplayed quite definitely the best pressing of this old thing that I’ve ever heard. Still reeling from that bargain price in a second hand record shop a few years back. Pressed at Nimbus Records.

Just listened to side 1 of this. Trouble is, you can’t really follow it with anything without a long respectful pause. Or indeed nothing at all.

Nice bit of Mid 20thC turned up today. Shame I just let the house clearance feller take my mum’s when she died of Covid. Still… strange times.

This is nice though.
