Great. When my Mum needed carers (before Covid) there were ones who were obviously happy & good at their jobs, & ones who simply took the job to get the Job centre off their case & really couldn't give a toss about the actual person needing care just doing literally the bare necessities (badly)!

I can see lots of people suddenly realising that their old gas guzzler is probably a better bet than this absolute farcical electric tax! 2nd hand value of electric vehicles going down very quickly now!

You can ask to be treated in another hospital if their waiting list is shorter but I am not sure if that's for all conditions.
In the short term go on any cancellations list.
Also, ask banks etc for all correspondence in Large Print

Possibly because you cancelled your appt the brain just went on a couple of days. Plus it is because the daytime is so short now any daytime snoozing can trick your brain into thinking a full day is passed.

Thanks. Looking forward to that. Its definitely one major way I keep my sanity over Xmas. Don't get me wrong I love my girlfriend (we don't live together) & my daughter (lives with boyfriend), so being all together at some point will be good, but it's all the palava/planning/ regimented times!!!😵😵😵😵

Golden rule...do you need it? Check prices a few weeks before BF & also check reviews as many retailers dump off their crud stuff in a BF deal!

Whilst I don't wish to waste my time being alive, it would be useful to have an optional & safe own method of hibernation just until we get to Dec 31st. That way days will have started to get longer & I can avoid all the Chrimbo hassles. Then in Jan 1st I can go on my local vintage bus running day!

I had a few extra hours 'blobbing' until the binmen (they were all blokes) turned up. That was in my mind going to be my cut~off point for getting up from a bit of bed blobbing telly watching. And I stuck to it even though they were slightly earlier than usual time.

I have reminded tactfully (shall we say) UK Amazon customer services of this fact when the automatic system states you can't return a product. Similarly about what constitutes a delivery.
