Native villages in Alaska are federally recognized tribes. It makes me sad to think about all of the graves, art, regalia, photos, and cultural history unique to each village that was just destroyed.

Does Trump want a sovereign wealth fund so he can bribe the citizenry with checks like the governor of Alaska does with the Permanent Fund Dividend? I know he liked putting his signature on the stimulus checks. It's a huge political football in AK. Reminds me that it's time to apply for the PFD.

More attention should be paid to the anti-indigenous belief systems of MAGA and Christian nationalism. The worst people in my community are clamoring for the complete dismantling of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and I think TrumpElon would be giddy to oblige.
