22.) Dream Mirror is another really bad deck I was very invested in. I'm a big fan of the two-sided chaos aesthetic (if anyone here is a Maplestory fan, I was big into Luminous back in the day), and this card is not only a really sick part of the deck but also huge gender goals

21.) In case Branded in Central Dogmatika didn't make it obvious, I'm a big fan of the "unbelievable number of eyes" aesthetic, and this is a sick-ass card art bc of it. I remember trying to draw this a ton in middle school just bc of how much I loved the aesthetic, real formative shit.

20.) While Dark Necrofear was ONE of the first boss monsters I played for playground reasons, this was THE first (not counting fake cards I found at the bazaar lmao). This dude formed so much of my early aesthetic interests. Do you all realize how many characters I gave wrist blades to bc of him?

19.) Look. I KNOW Tistina is bad. I get it. But Crystal God is so fucking sick. It has such a cool effect and the aesthetic ROCKS. Like yeah I wanna jam the unspeakably horrific crystal plague that infects anything it touches. I hope the OCG support in ALIN is good PLEASE

18.) I remember trying to brew something with this and Metalfoes/Fire Kings years ago and it gave me a love for the card. This thing's so borderline, one of those cards where I can see them breaking this some time in the next 5 years bc of some new incidental plant deck.

Prepping for post-CRBR and this list is so fucking SICK. Breakers feel better into Ryzeal than HT and I think breaker Memento in general feels good, so this is 10 breakers that are also good going first which makes everything really fluid. As usual, 1 Fuwa bc I'm broke.

15.) I got my first top back during Halq Scythe format with Libromancer, and Doombroker is just the coolest card imo. Acting as a sorta breaker+turn 1 disruption rocks, and the Libro deck as a whole is really cool. Wish they got some love.

14.) Memento's been on my mind since reveal and has been my deck of choice for competitive play since LEDE. Really cool deck, a ton of fun to play, exceptionally strong engine as opposed to relying heavily on non-engine, and Combined Creation is just what ties it all together.

13.) Not TCG legal yet, but Maliss makes me happy bc I've been waiting for an Alice in Wonderland deck since I was like, 14. Legitimately, the first custom archetype I ever made was AiW-themed! Very happy we finally have this.

10.) Ally Mind is a funny one. If anyone remembers there was an Ally Mind Quasar deck, where you'd use Level Eater+all the normal monster reborns to repeatedly pump out 5 synchros. Really cool deck and one of my favorite historic "jank" brews.

9.) I just love the design on this card. A completely generic trap searcher but because of needing to banish 1 of the same from deck and blocking you from other traps for rest of turn, it both doesn't mean the banlist limited power traps does nothing and it has a real restriction. Banger tbh.

8.) Spellbook gaming on DN is probably what pushed me initially to play more seriously. I played "real" decks before, but Spellbook was the first actually tiered deck I tried to learn. Admittedly I had an obsession with and it was due to this dogshit guy, but like, still lmao.

RGS was a lot for me, all on the back of this lime jell-o fucker. My first deck I took to a YCS, what I'd consider my first real deckbuilding contribution to the community, and probably what fully pushed me into playing more competitively (even if it's still with dogshit decks)

Big formative card in figuring out the types of decks I loved as I began to play more and more competitively, just such a cool card that represents simple plusses, grind, and interruption with flexibility going first and second.
