Part of being in politics means losing, but man, this one hurts. I’m proud of the campaign that we ran and know that Nicole will go on to do incredible things in whatever her next venture is - but Trenton really lost out on a smart, thoughtful leader in the Assembly.

Just so the record is clear, this is the skeet that triggered this particular meltdown. If I’ve said something inaccurate here I would welcome a correction.
So after pointing out that Keith Edwards was having a meltdown in real time over Trump doing something that the federal government has already done for centuries to Black and Indigenous people he said I was “insane and the reason we lose elections” and blocked me. …..Okay.

In all seriousness though, coolest day of my grad school career was getting to go back in the Smithsonian archives and see the original Scarecrow costume that’s too fragile to be put on display. I did almost cry.

Looks like the original post was deleted, but here was the tweet referenced. And to be clear, nobody should have a problem with a comprehensive audit! But people should have a problem with an unelected, hard-right autocratic oligarch with no experience doing the audit! That’s not a good thing!

Was shocked to see the arrival of two squash in my Blue Apron order today. Did not realize that in my pre-election overworked delirium I selected two recipes containing squash, but am choosing to view this as the universe obligating me to take a side on how I feel about them.
