this is the Ardeer ICI Nobel factory site where my paternal grandmother helped build munitions to kill people in WW2 and produce chemical shit after that which ultimately poisoned her before I was born, don't think there's much chance of my getting a job there now even if I wanted the slow poisoning

I have fixed the stupid nomenclature whereby your parent's cousin is supposedly also a "cousin" rather an aunt or uncle, and even your grandparent's cousin is supposedly also a "cousin" ffs rather than a grand-uncle or grand-aunt.

when you think in terms of bastion theory, you realise that "triangulation" by the elite is really just adopting a position halfway between the propriety of the bourgeois centre and the brutality of the guards along the walls and then making that position the new propriety of the bourgeois centre

So I invested in some basics from a nearby pan-Asian deli to see how they compare to Lidl’s version or, with the panang paste, to fill a gap where Lidl don’t stock it.

I do like the term "reactionary centrist" but it's important to remember that "centrist" really means "aligned with the centre of power & privilege" because the left/right axis is only a spatial metaphor, there is no "middle ground", not really, and that's right IT'S BASTION THEORY, MOTHERFUCKERS!

For my first ever attempt at pan frying fish—it’s just something I never got round to after disastrous frying failures in my 20s then decades of only a stupid tiny frying pan too small for fish—I’m quite chuffed how the fish came out. It was rather tasty too.

The median elite journalist is firmly a constitutive element of the centre of power & privilege which responded to the threat to that centre posed by 21st century social justice with a campaign of anti-egalitarian rhetoric to radicalise its violent fringe and *create* that powerful fascist daddy.
