Now here is the part the dairy industry hopes the public never pieces together:

Everything filmed at Polshea and Trevear mirrors what keeps turning up every time someone plants a camera in a shed the industry didn’t prepare for. Punching. Slapping. Kicking. Shouting. Dragging. Forklifts.

Both farms supply milk through Davidstow Creamery to Saputo, one of the UK’s biggest dairy processors.

Saputo responded by suspending Polshea Farm for two weeks while it conducted an investigation. Trevear Farm’s footage, partly from 2022, is also under review.

Several dead cows were found decomposing outside.

At Trevear Farm, similar scenes were recorded. Slaps. Kicks. Punches. Calves dragged away moments after birth. Rods used as prods. A welfare expert reviewing the material counted more than sixty actions that appeared unlawful.

At Polshea Farm, cameras caught workers hitting cows with metal bars and plastic pipes, twisting their tails, shouting at individuals too weak to move, and lifting an injured cow with a forklift. At least one cow was punched repeatedly after becoming trapped in a milking carousel.

The footage was gathered by activists and filmed as part of an investigation led by animal rights filmmaker Joey Carbstrong.

Polshea Farm and Trevear Farm, both supplying Saputo Dairy UK, the producer of Cathedral City and other household cheese brands, were secretly filmed in 2022 and again in 2025.
