Wake up!! Tamala is a lot more straightforward than the other installments which largely works in its favour since it's shooting for a very blunt message but it does leave it feeling kind of out of place since it by necessity removes a lot of the casual malice from Tamala.

The most interesting part of Tamala on Parade is probably Tatla showing up in a couple of the ads as the corporation inevitably begins to comodify its own god. Tamala's Wild Party is kind of just nothing.

There's a couple more OVAs and also by sheer coincidence another movie coming out next year so I'll definitely have to get to those at some point.

Like I'd pieced the general shape of things together already by that point and it didn't feel particularly graceful in its delivery. Definitely an interesting watch though.

It's rare you get to see Vimes and the watch (the bastards) from the outside and positioned as antagonists though, that's neat.
