I enjoy @aaronguile.bsky.social ‘s #poems & was happy to hear he has a chapbook. Many gems including a bittersweet, foundational relationship reminisced in “Flowers in Our Garden,” & the heartfelt/relatable “Nostalgia Like Moonshine” (“What’s real is rust, wet grass, and bent spoons.”) For sure.

Blue Hill Bay, cottage on the shore, days of needed rest. Curious, the melancholic strains of Beethoven’s “Für Elise” follow closely to our steps. I learn to play it on the ukulele.

This grave is one of just a handful in a somewhat remote coastal region of Maine that we came upon while hiking. As I pictured the grieving family laying his short life to rest, in the cold earth, a mosquito reminded that I’m grateful to be alive—an odd little vibe and haiku for sure.

A new book of #poetry is available and if you like my #haikus on Bluesky then you should enjoy DAY BREAKS that also includes longer #poems. And though not expected, it would be deeply appreciated if you could help spread the word. 🙏✌️
