Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. Wander a huge landscape riddled with monsters, dungeons, and side-quests while working to become enlightened in the Eight Virtues: Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Justice, Honor, Sacrifice, Spirituality, and Humility, descend from the Three Truths, Trust, Love, Courage.

This scene shows landscapes on the left and right, and water in the center. Mountains and a dungeon entrance are on the lower-middle, and a large castle stands on the right. In Ultima IV, the player could walk through two dimensional virtual environments and interact with non-player characters, including Lord British, king of the land. Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Ald. Scott Spiker, and muralist Cory Nikolaus are here at the unveiling of Milwaukee’s newest mural at S. 13th St. and W. Howard Ave. in Milwaukee’s Garden District.

The county moved the beach at South Shore Park to deal with this very thing. It’s not the sewage that’s the problem anymore so much as bird and animal poop. And water not circulating. Anyhow, it’s gorgeous now. (No, I haven’t been in the water though.)

I walked home from the Bay View Bash, and appreciated a bunch of things that you might miss as you drive by, and certainly can't appreciate the same way. This includes the best mural in Bay View. #Milwaukee #Wisconsin

20 years ago, we attended the Bay View Bash street festival in Bay View, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The smell of roasting corn and beer, the music and crowds happily milling about, a beam of sunlight shining on a church steeple made of Cream City brick 💛... I found home! It's been home ever since. I💛MKE!

Look up at a sight most never see.

This is the underside of the decommissioned water tank in the old Town of Lake water tower in Milwaukee’s Garden District. Most people never see it, as it’s behind a locked door that leads to an area above the top floor of the building.
