Wooohoo the nurses just visited, the wound next to my ahole now no longer needs daily visits from nurses. Huzzah, my butt can now regain some mystery now, I won't have people looking into the almighty abyss.

I did so much life administration from bed today. Paid off and closed my loan account today from when we went to america in 2019. Closed it 2 months early. Got extras and ambulance cover for me and the kids, booked middle child a drivers lessons the day prior to her test. I feel accomplished.

Hospital on Monday night discharged me with 5 pain killers. I have a wound as big as a fist and as deep as a fish in my abdomen, and you give me 5 pain killers to last until I can see my gp? I can't just magic up GP appointments.

I am getting discharged from hospital. 3 weeks has felt like 8. I'm so ready to go lay in a comfortable bed.

Update: still in hospital, still being tube fed, still have a tube up my peehole.
New: dads in hospital too, in the next ward. He got diagnosed with a brain tumour last night, today after some more scans it is benign. Thank fuck. He wil be operated on in a few days.

So I got super sick with an infection and had to have emergency surgery this week. Was in icu for a couple now on a ward. The worst part is i cannot vote tomorrow and have been given an exemption. I'm going to be perturbed if pocock doesn't get in.

I'm at the hotel, which is around 5 minute walk to the hospital, my anxiety just caused me to look at how much uber would be.... $36 to drive 2 minutes. So safe to say i am walking.

I can't keep my granny panties up anymore. Looks like when I'm back in canberra and can drive again, I will need to go buy new undies. Until then, I'm just going to have to keep on pulling up.

How long do I roast a 2kg chicken for? I am guessing about 1 hour 20 minutes in a 180ºc fan forced oven?

As part of the emancipation of Hellie, I will no longer be a victim to learned helplessness. I am a capable human that's more than I was ever given credit for. This enthusiasm is due to patching holes and painting walls all by myself.

Back to canberra tomorrow. So long melbourne, I won't be returning now for a long time due to going back to work at end of month. 😞 I have surgery in Sydney on the 17th April so I am excited about that.

Currently in melbourne. Went to comedy festival last night. On an extreme diet so have barely any energy to do things. I am prob going to werribee zoo tomorrow and just ride the safari bus.
