In some Asian countries, 7 July is the day of the Tanabata festival, where people tie papers with their wishes on them to a bamboo branch in honour of the original anecdote.
I decorated the paper on the bamboo branches with a friend of mine who learned about the event in the East at university.

I attended a university conference with my professor and we got a lot of loquat from other professors at the university.
There is too much of it and I think it will go bad before I can eat it all up......

Today I rushed to the university without having breakfast, but it was sunny and the sun was shining so brightly that I got terribly dizzy and broke out in a lot of cold sweats after running for a while.

He said he wanted to hear me play the piano, so I played some songs for him.
I'm glad he liked it.
