I made a this when I was pregnant with my first. Here’s a page from it that I already had. I gave it to my son & DIL.

I asked my daughter to find her mitts & take a photo b/c I wanted to post them in SMYKs. I loved the pattern but I lost it over 10 yrs ago.
Today someone asked the name of a cable sweater I posted. I went to look.

1. My Aran sweater replacement for a stolen one. Way too big now. I want to knit another.
2. The Aran sweater knit for my daughter.
3. The hat and mittens I knit to match my daughter’s sweater.
4. A cable charity knit.

It made up for the time my daughter wore my Aran sweater and it was stolen when she wasn’t looking. Here’s the replacement I knit years later and one for her.

I was hiking & lost one of these mitts. They are not only lovely on the outside, they are in the inside too (lined).
When I noticed one gone I walked up and down looking. Nothing 😢

The first stranded sweater I’d done for 25 years. It had 4 colours on some rounds. Love a challenge.
So… I knit the sleeves too long 🤦♀️ & the neck was too high.
After ~5 years I fixed it.
Part II when my girl wakes (g-y shift — just went to bed)

Here’s my Ratty. I’m making one for my daughter’s cat with catnip in it.

I don’t normally start a project before I finish the last one but… I am not going to have enough blue for my husband scrappy socks. No problem. I can get some tomorrow and it doesn’t matter if the dye lots don’t match. The second pair are going to be fairly plain.

My little blond lookalike (if your model were never groomed) needs a sweater. She’s currently recovering from a bad sports injury and has to ride in her royal carriage which means she could get cold. I guess I’d better get at it!

Eat the Rich is very well designed. The pattern is a little hard to follow (I was using KnitCompanion) b/c the charts are on 2 pp (can’t be helped). Horizontal numbering would help, as would using a chart with heavier lines every 5 rows & columns (drives me insane when not used).
