The first stranded sweater I’d done for 25 years. It had 4 colours on some rounds. Love a challenge.
So… I knit the sleeves too long 🤦♀️ & the neck was too high.
After ~5 years I fixed it.

I don’t normally start a project before I finish the last one but… I am not going to have enough blue for my husband scrappy socks. No problem. I can get some tomorrow and it doesn’t matter if the dye lots don’t match. The second pair are going to be fairly plain.

🧶 Hats? I have a few… all toques because I’m Canadian. It’s funny I have a couple of patterns for non toque hats but I’ve never got to them.

Another pair of Octopus Mittens.(Emily Peters). This is the 4th pair I’ve made. Canadian Briggs & Little Lite ‘n’ Fancy softspun 100% wool and Peruvean Yarnalia Joy 100% baby alpaca for the lining 🧶

Eat the Rich is very well designed. The pattern is a little hard to follow (I was using KnitCompanion) b/c the charts are on 2 pp (can’t be helped). Horizontal numbering would help, as would using a chart with heavier lines every 5 rows & columns (drives me insane when not used).

#WIPWednesday This is the Eat the Rich Toque. Progressing quickly but I’d like to have a little chat with the designer about how to make the charts easier to work with (nothing to do with the design which is wonderful). I’m knitting it for a friend with alopecia 🧶

I thought about this for a while and decided that giving away my knitting gives me the most joy.
I’m knitting some toques for charity (pictured w/Admiral Furgus). My friend really liked 1 and asked if she could pay me for it. NO NO NO! I made her this one (Alaska Hat in worsted).

#showmeyourknits is challenging me this week! This is as autumn themed as I get. Maple Leaf toque and cowl and the Richmond Pullover. The toque for obvious reasons and the pullover just because it’s light and I wear it in the autumn.

I don’t knit scarves very often but I had to make this one for my friend’s sister and then my daughter wanted one so here I am showing them! 🧶

It seems that #showmeyourknits wants to know what’s on my needles. Same thing as was on them on WIP Wednesday, Octopus Mittens (Ravelry). I’ve knit the pattern 4 times. I love it.
I also FINALLY realized that b/c I’m lining them I don’t have to worry about the floats unless they are very long 🤦♀️

It seems that #showmeyourknits wants to know what’s on my needles. Same thing as was on them on WIP Wednesday, Octopus Mittens (Ravelry). I’ve knit the pattern 4 times. I love it.

Work socks for my son. He loves them (3rd pair) and no he doesn’t wear work boots in his job as an editor.
I used the Sock Monkey pattern by Knitters Brewing Company but modified the heel to be a regular flap. Lovely easy knit that isn’t boring.

Star Wars Wookie Socks complete. From Knitting the Galaxy by Tanis Gray. They are really big and very long so I had to not do the last Wookie and adapt. I also hate the way the heal is done and would have done it differently if I’d known. The recipient will love them 🧶
