Taking part in the second qualifier for worlds will be Schönmaier, Stöhr, Jesenia Schäfer, Wartmann, Mühlhofer, Baumgartl, Gotthardt and Schlegel. Wiersma stated again that they would only take gymnasts with medal or at least finals potential. Notable absence: Meolie Jauch

Didn’t see that coming!
Pauline Schäfer-Betz announced that she is switching training groups in Chemnitz. In the future, she will train in the group of Anatol Ashurkov and Tatjana Bachmayer - this is the group other WAGs in Chemnitz (like Karina Schönmaier and Lea Quaas) are in.

So the Stuttgart girls are not competing tomorrow at German Championships. Kevric is obviously still out but Marlene Gotthardt and Michaela Mühlhofer also didn’t make it to the final start list… no official communication so far why they were scraped

Ended up being Esposito, D’Amato, Perotti, Fioravanti and Tonelli. Perotti didn’t vault in podium training today, no floor from D’Amato
Seems to be Esposito, Alice D’Amato, Barzasi, Perotti and Fioravanti. The nominative entry list was updated yesterday. Excited to see Giulia Perotti!

Jessica Schlegel who was on the German national team for 2 years is interested in NCAA! She is great on beam but never had the D on the other events to really content in Elite. I think she’d do great in NCAA, I hope a good team picks her up. Check out her YouTube videos: youtube.com/@jessica.sch...

Fun fact: USAGym bid for 2015 Worlds but lost the final vote to Glasgow in a 23-13 split. Paris was, inexplicably, ousted in the first round of voting.
Incidentally, the FIG has (rightly) credited Glasgow with revolutionising ART Worlds, and it's been used as a template ever since.
