You know, most people I meet in the UK first assume from my accent that I’m Irish. But then they still don’t hate me when they learn otherwise; we’re not a monolith, after all. There isn’t nearly as much anti-American sentiment as I feared, not when it comes down to individuals meeting individuals.

I don’t know which is more offensive: blaming video games for inhumane policies, or that my gamer hours aren’t ruining the economy because they’re in “girl hours”.

Soros is the most unrecognized but recognizable red herring of our time—I wonder how many people would still believe he’s involved in anything if they knew that the sentiments against him were verbatim spread around in various countries to the exact same effect. No one has to pay me to protest!
