What have I learned from co-producing these systems maps?
1) The system of actors engaging in environmental topics is vast
2) There are plenty of opportunities as a result!
3) Systems maps are a really helpful tool to visualise this kind of landscape
4) Co-production is not easy, but so worth it!

These systems maps show groups, organisations and individuals that could be engaged for research, development and innovation, and were co-produced with a range of diverse partners. ESS NEMO was published in July, and here's a picture as a taster:

I outline some key ways in which systems maps can be impactful, including:
1) Increasing research impact
2) Facilitating collaboration
3) Improve networking
4) Enhance awareness of opportunities
5) Broaden understanding of system complexity
6) Provide inspiration for future mapping
