Hi! I'm in the Lake Tahoe area in California. The photo is of Watson Lake, which is near Lake Tahoe. I tried to run there early in the summer a couple years ago before the snow had fully melted off the trails. I did a lot of post-holing that day 🙃

this is why little kids I teach to ski are great. Because I can show them that I can touch my tongue to the tip of my nose and they're impressed, and they try to do it themselves

seems like a kind of Pascal's Wager. Like "we don't know for sure but makes sense to avoid it just in case"

I think I was in high school or college when it became popular so in my head, I was too old for it

I once told a therapist that I thought I might be autistic and she said that I make very good eye contact for an autistic person

I said, “I’m not making eye contact; I’m staring at your mouth”

So she kinda scrunched her body down to get her eyes lower to where I was looking and just said, “oh…”

My hygienist told me that if I didn’t start flossing, then I’d have to come in three times a year for cleanings. I’ve flossed every day since then
