Inktober Day 3: Crown
In Which I Do Concept Art for a Vague Fairy-Tale Idea

I don't have (many) concrete story details, but I have started worldbuilding. One idea is that the higher class go for shorter hair, since it's a subtle mark of having extra time and resources.

I'm sure there were many more, but the first one that comes to mind is Michael Hagues' Book of Dragons! A) it was dragons, and B) there was such a variety of dragons that I always had fun flipping through its vibrant pages (even if I didn't always like the goofier depictions).

Silver Pennies! I don't remember every "acquiring" it—it was just there, on one of the family bookshelves. I think I loved it partially because it was such an old-feeling book, one that no one else seemed to read or notice; it made it feel like a special secret.

Inktober Day 1: Mustache
In Which Kathryn Torments an Innocent Eabennor

I couldn't remember any characters of mine with mustaches (drawing facial hair is Not my forte), but then I asked myself: who would wear a fake mustache? and, well—

(characters are from my supervillain WIP)
