Week 3:

Average weight: 197.4 lbs (-2.5)
Average cal/day: 1871
Average steps: 14,880

I finally started lowering my caffeine intake, and I think this explains my improved sleep. I also had 2 days I went over my calories pretty bad, so I'll have to be extra good this coming week

I woke up in the middle of the night to my cat screaming his lungs out howling, so I started panicking trying to find him. Absolutely nothing was wrong, he was just doing that.

Here is an embarrassing mugshot of the culprit

Week 2:

Average weight: 199.9 lbs (-1.4)
Average cal/day: 1690
Average steps: 12,254

Sleep is a little better, and I think I've found a better balance with my calories. Caffeine is still a little high. I did not hit my weekly weight loss goal, but my progress appears to be picking up again🤞

Week 1 of my #Macrofactor 100-Day Transformation challenge:

Average weight: 201.3 lbs
Average cal/day: 1820
Average steps: 12,390

Areas I'd like to improve: I want to start getting more sleep, better quality sleep, and cut back on caffeine. I also want more consistency with my calorie intake

Every comment section looks like this (this is from a vid of an 18 year old squatting 600 lbs). Users laugh about how brutal the comments are, but I feel like broiling in this much negativity all the time has to permanently alter your brain chemistry

Starting the new year right! Incline treadmill walking will forever be my favorite cardio! #fitnesssky

I don't really like posting pictures of myself, but with 2024 ending, I was proud looking back on the changes I made. There's about a 60lb difference between these two pictures.

Still more work to do in 2025, but cheers to always moving forward. Happy new year!

They all had Christmas-y names, only a few songs posted with millions of plays, and disturbingly similar descriptions. The first band was the "North Star Notesmiths", here are two more: "Daniel & the Holly-Jollies" and "The Humbugs" [6/9]
December 19, 2024 at 11:13 PM
I decided to read their description, and it wasn't what I expected. Being a band solely dedicated to Christmas music, their description seemed uncharacteristically corporate and soulless (like their song covers, actually) [4/9]

I got curious and went to the artist's page: millions of plays on their top songs - they made popular Christmas covers. [3/9]
December 19, 2024 at 11:13 PM
I was listening to a Christmas playlist on Spotify while I was working when I briefly looked over and caught a glimpse of the album cover for the song playing... and I did a double-take. It seemed normal without looking too closely, but I stared for a while and I saw it: this is clearly AI art [2/9]

I keep telling myself "trust the process" with my current diet because I am not seeing the changes I want or expect on the scale. I am tracking my calories everyday - I'm in a pretty steep deficit, but I'm hitting my macro goals and I've upped my cardio too, but I can't seem to break through 203lbs

And many influencers can see this, and they point it out too. Mitchell Hooper has shown how he, a strongman, would train at PF (the video pictured below is very positive but clickbaity). There's also TNF and Sam Sulek who both show how great PF is for people into bodybuilding. [8/9]
December 15, 2024 at 9:06 PM
PF is marketed as a gym meant for people who aren't already serious about fitness: it promotes itself for being a good foot in the door for beginners. So when an influencer goes in with a camera crew and starts screaming and slamming weights, they are just inconveniencing workers and beginners [4/9]

So fitness content creators have made it a trend to shit on Planet Fitness and to try to set the Lunk Alarm off and get kicked out. And all in all, I think this trend is not just corny, but also very telling of a content creator's relatability. [3/9]

Much like a tree falling in the woods with no one around, if you do cardio without telling anyone - then did you really even do cardio?

The answer is yes, but I'm annoying lol

These B12 supplements have 104,167% of my body's daily B12 needs. Essentially, each of these tablets has the amount of B12 my body would need over the course of 3 years.

I'm starting to think I wasted my money buying these if the amount of vitamin B I need is that miniscule.

Car didn't start this morning, but I still found a way to get into PF for cardio! Have a nice day friends, don't forget to get your steps in!
