Interesting indeed to see ITGAM/CD11b (and ITGAL) associations with brain aging. I wonder if the association is via indirect increases in myeloid pro-inflammatory signaling and whether CD11b allosteric agonists could ameliorate that. 🤔

They identified 64 genes linked to aging, and 13 potential drugs - including rapamycin - that may help slow brain decline..
