Ten lessons I have learnt from consulting. I’ve spent my career consulting – 30 years now and still continue to learn on a daily basis. I’ve tried to condense some of these lessons into this thread, so here we go.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed with products being called "data analytics" products when all they do is web analytics? Implying that web analytics is the only analytics there is.

I've been looking for a utility to build a decent sitemap.xml. I found one, but it needed to be downloaded and installed. I thought to myself "How quaint!" #oldskool

The most dangerous phrase in organisational change isn't "this won't work"—it's "this is fine." Complacency kills more businesses than competition ever could.

In organisational change, resistance isn't the enemy—it's valuable intel. When people push back, they're showing you exactly where your change strategy needs reinforcement.
